6/52

The pile at the end of the hall has regenerated itself.  Damn!

Christian's guinea cage he built himself.  You can see Debbie's nose just under the animal print tarp and Ginny in a "what the heck is going on?" pose in the back corner.

I'm chuffed to bits to have this top.  I got it at Cinnamon Girl's.  I'm glad I got it since I was afraid it was to "dizzy" a print for me.   Teenie said it was "a must buy".

Another two must-buys:  that coffee cup with surfboards by Starbucks just for Hawaii.  There's a load of cups at Starbucks that are Hawaii-esque.  I also had to have that Lu necklace about my neck.

This book came in the mail and I had it read in under three hours.  I was familiar with her story, because I read most of it on her blog.  I think this was tamed down . . . I missed not reading about her "heiny tingles", but other than that:  great book!  Recipes in the back.  Of course!  She'll have you eating butter before you can say "cholesterol will kill the skeeter that drinks your blood!"

LOVE the shirt! And the mug ... But I do not like those darn piles that seem to return again and again ~ UGH! They are so annoying, aren't they?! Oh, and thanks for the review of the book. I was wondering about it. Have a great weekend!

You look great.

I got piles on top of my piles. All my drawers are like piles.

The "pig" cage is the best. Lucky little pigs.

have a great weekend!

You look so pretty girl! :)
Hey! It is almost 10 pm here and I literally was at Barnes and Nobles a little over one hour ago holding that very exact book in my hands and thinking..should I buy? I love her blog!
Instead, however, I felt it better that I buy Unplanned by Abby Johnson. I could not afford both tonight.

@Suzanne - no slight meant to Ree, but I'd have been better off to buy the Unplanned book myself. Ree's book is grand and all that rot, but I want to read Unplanned as well. I did read somewhere that it is important to get the copy from Ignatius Press since it's got more "something" . . . I wish I could recall what that something was!!!! I think it was BarbSFO who reviewed it, if I'm not mistaken.

aha! yes, it was BarbSFO. Here's the bit she mentioned:

so that I could get the Ignatius Press edition, which includes introductions by David Bereit, director of 40 Days for Life, and Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life. You'll want to read those too.

Oh..didn't know that. I wonder why the other press company didn't include them. I find that odd..so wondering if Focus on the Family was being a bit choosy here? I mean pro-lifers should all stick together like glue.
Well, I didn't catch that before I bought it and darn I came an inch close to reading her review. Actually, I read stuff by Fr. Pavone and David B. all the time anyway.
Well, I love Ree's recipes and the artwork and stuff of her blog. I learned about her through The Kitchen Madonna.
Its Sunday morning..if you read this today..a little prayer please. We are giving a surprise belated birthday party for Danny this afternoon..so far he doesn't know. :) I'd like to really surprise him and get a big ol smile. :) Thanks!

PS I'd take that Lighthouse trek there in a heartbeat! Its built in the side of the mountain and only the top sticks out? That is what the pic looked like, anyway. Wow.
