Mix and Match Post

Here is a cute coffee cup my neighbour's son gave me for my birthday.

Chocolates for my birthday from a dear friend (and the necklace from another friend who offered a pay it forward on FB).

The "cone of shame".  I have to do something to keep her from chewing herself to death.  I give her breaks, but not too long or she goes right back to gnawing her paws off.

Almost done!  My first piece with linen!

All the stitching done, but I cannot add on the memory thread (has wire in it) until after I've done the finishing care (wash, roll up in a towel to aid drying, finish drying by carefully layering cloth and ironing . .. then I can use "invisible" thread to anchor that sucker on and then I can say I'm done!).  However, it's never done until it's framed or put into something for use/display.  I'll likely frame it and give it to my parents for Christmas.  Maybe.

Those cones sure may look funny but they help! I left an award for you on my site, Sarah :) Course, those things always come with strings attached! But if you want to join in...

Many thanks for your prayers, Sarah.

Sarah! Seems that something is going on..Crista's dog is driving us and herself crazy...is this a normal occurance with some doggies? I haven't had dogs long enough in my life to see this. We have tried everything..it isn't fleas...her skin doesn't look particularly dry, but she chews and scratches and licks sometimes till I want to pull my hair out.
So if you get the cone, how long do you keep it on her?

Suz, forgive my not answering your question. Here we go: I leave it on her all the time, except for breaks to eat/drink. When Dan's home she goes longer 'cos he forgets to put it back on, really.
